Ah, Rome again!!

Ah Rome again!! : My quick take on “Those about to die” (starplay)

Ah, Rome, where blood spills like wine,

Where chariots race and swordsmen shine.

With "Ben-Hur" and "Gladiator" in our minds,

A new epic emerges, where power unwinds.

“Those About to Die"—a Starzplay delight,

Ten episodes long, a genuine binge-watch at night.(Alone 😜)

In the shadow of Nero, Rome’s new stage,

Vespasian reigns, though frail with age.

He hands the reins to his son, Titus bold,

Only to spark a sibling feud, cold.

The younger one schemes, power in sight,

As Rome’s politics twist through the night.

But what’s Rome without its brutal games?

To distract from hunger, the empire inflames.

Think IPL, but with more blood and fire

Chariot races and gladiators who never tire.

Expect bloody bouts, and races full of pace,

Scheming plots in every Roman space.

Power politics, ambition on display,

With skin shows aplenty along the way.

Anthony Hopkins leads a cast so fine,

But the others also shine, a stellar line.

The VFX? Superlative, performances? Grand,

The plot, it grips, every moment planned.

Action scenes keep you on the edge of your seat,

But be mindful of who joins you to meet.

With all its thrills, it’s a show to savor,

A Roman tale, filled with grit and flavor.

So, for those who crave battles, betrayal, and pride,“Those About to Die" lets your tastes collide.

I loved it, every twist and turn,

Another Roman epic to watch and learn.
