New year, new seasons: My quick take on “Jack Ryan S03”

At the outset, my apologies for the delay in publishing ‘My takes’, reason, I got engrossed with a few new seasons of my favorite web series. Jack Ryan S03 is one among them (La Reina del Sur s03, Fauda s04, we're the other two).

JR3 is as engrossing as its earlier seasons, the plot of s03 is very contemporary (what is happening in Europe now) and it is binge-watch-worthy. In this season the analyst Jack Ryan counters the Russian geo-political ambition. The eight-episode long season has excellent production value, the action scene choreography is at par with any Bond film, visually it's a brilliant series.

One may find there are quite a few ‘creative liberties’ taken by makers, but the same is done by all Bond movies and other MI squeals. This character of Jack Ryan was created by spy thriller master Tom Clancy, it can be compared with Ian Fleming's Bond, the character is played very well by handsome John Krasinskii.
