Steamy, sleazy n Sexy : My quick take on ‘Fake Profile’ (Netflix)
Yeah it's quite a steamy n sleazy series that could be easily got classified as soft porn, but twists and turns in the series which has skin show galore, make it an intriguing affair. I am sure our Abbas Mastan duo would be impressed with the out of box twists found in this Columbian web series (originally it is in Spanish, but it is nicely dubbed in English). I have become a big fan of these Latino series after watching “La reina del sur”, in fact I could see some known faces from La Reina in this fake profile too.
Plot begins with an exotic pole dancer in a LA, who falls for a guy though Tinder dating app. The Guy claims to be a plastic surgeon from Columbia, and dates this dame who is the queen of a strip club.
After the 4 month-long date, the dame realizes that the Tinder guy is not as tender as seen on Tinder, as he goes missing after 4 months. Hence to know the truth she travels to Columbia in खोज ऑफ़ धोखेबाज़ Date. For next nine episodes, audience is subjected to various twists n turns ultimately knowing the राज़ of fake profile, which is nothing as compared to ‘fake’ relationships various characters are having amongst themselves.
If one turns a blind eye towards the blatant skin show, one might enjoy the thrill in the plot. (I could binge-watch the series however let me warn you that the series is watchable w/o kids around. May be you will have to ‘fake’ it to watch this ‘Fake profile’ 😉.
