आडूजीवीथम movie is अद्भुतम !!

आडूजीवीथम movie is अद्भुतम: My quick take on Blessy’s “The Goat Life” (theatrical release)

Watched this survival drama on wide screen of a theater, which can be termed as a ‘kalapaani in a place where there is no paani”. National Awad winning director Blessy chose to adapt the true story of Najeeb Mohammed which is published as a novel titled “Aadujeevitham” (The Goat life). I should confess that movie based on आडूजीवीथम , is एकदम अद्भुतम, with performances अद्वित्यम, and camerawork अप्रतिमम .

Our protagonist, Najeeb, embarks on the classic Gulf dream journey, only to find himself trapped in a nightmare of epic proportions. The whole movie is basically his struggle to break free from modern-day slavery in the vast desert expanse. And let me tell you, the emotional rollercoaster is accompanied by a heart-wrenching background score courtesy of none other than AR Rahman. It's like he found his mojo again, folks.

Now, I watched it in Malayalam, but those English subtitles were so on point, you could practically feel the emotions without understanding a word. And who needs dialogue when you've got Prithviraj Sukumaran serving up expressions that could win Oscars on their own? Seriously, forget Hooda, Prithviraj might just snatch the crown for body transformation king with this one.

But let's talk visuals – the visual effects in this film are mind-blowing. From intense sandstorms to showdowns with desert vipers and vultures, every scene is a feast for the eyes. It's like our very own desi version of "Dune 2," but with an extra dose of adrenaline.

A special word of appreciation Prithviraj Sukumaran, its hard to believe this is same star who had pierced his nostril for a nose ring in his beefed-up Salar avatar, his performance in Goat life might have propelled him in a G.O.A.T role.

Sure, the runtime might test your bladder, but fear not, the editing is so slick, (scene transformations are utterly awesome ) you won't even realize you've been sitting there for hours. Overall, "Goat Life" is a cinematic masterpiece that'll have you laughing, crying, and maybe even rethinking your life choices. When AR Rahman and Rasulkutty team up again, you know you're in for something special. Oscars, anyone?
